St. George's, Bermuda

Make sure you visit the historic town of St. George's, Bermuda. We recommend visiting St. George's multiple times while visiting Bermuda as it offers great shopping, delicious restaurants, unbelievable beaches and coves and many interesting historical sites. Most importantly, St. George's is where Captain Jerry lives and sets off on his famous and award winning sailing excursions.We recommend visitors picking up a high-speed ferry or catching one of Bermuda's famous pink buses from any destination early in the morning. After you arrive at St. George's, make sure you check out the following:

• Sail and Swim or Sunset Charter with Captain Jerry (Book a morning, day or sunset trip)

• Check out the life size replica Historic Sea Venture Ship, which carried the first English Settlers to Bermuda in 1612 while on their way to Virginia.

• Tobacco Bay is a really cool beach and cove with great snorkelling, Island music, delicious food and of course cold beverages. You can also rent snorkelling equipment, beach chairs and umbrellas so you just need to bring your friends and family.

• Fort St. Catherine built in the late 19th century, overlooks the beautiful Bermuda water. You can take a tour of the Fort, which includes displays of old weaponry and canons, tours of the actual barracks and living quarters and other historical memorabilia accompanied by narratives.

• St. Catherine's Beach is a beautiful open beach for those who want to just relax and enjoy the view.

• Blackbeard's Hideaway Restaurant overlooks Achilles Bay and is a great spot for food and fun. You can swim and snorkel at Achilles Bay and then grab some drinks and food at Black Beards. You can also rent the normal beach equipment and accessories.

• Shopping in St. George's includes fancy jewelry, clothing, perfumes and art stores as well as the fun tourist shops. You can also find some local artist and glass blowing shops.

Dockyard, Bermuda

If you are coming to Bermuda on a cruise ship, you will most likely be docking here. Dockyard offers tourist shopping and good food. There is also a nice beach with beach bar called Snorkel Park readily available. We recommend catching the high speed ferry from Dockyard to St. George.

Hamilton, Bermuda

Hamilton is the shopping headquarters of Bermuda. There are also plenty of great restaurants. You can catch a high speed ferry or try out the famous pink public buses directly to St. George.
